방콕 - 방콕 당국은 오늘 아침(9월 24일) 바지라 병원 앞에서 발생한 대형 싱크홀 발생 후 두싯 지역 도로 구간을 폐쇄했습니다. 이번 붕괴로 폭 약 30m, 깊이 약 50m의 구멍이 생겼고, 이후 확대되었지만 부상자는 보고되지 않았습니다.

두싯 지역청은 시민들의 안전을 위해 바지라 병원 교차로에서 상기 교차로까지, 그리고 주변 도로를 폐쇄하도록 지시했습니다. 또한, 이 사고로 인근 공공시설이 마비되어 기반 시설에 대한 위험이 커졌고, 통근자와 보행자들의 불안감이 고조되었습니다.

응급 구조대와 엔지니어링팀이 현장에 출동하여 지역 안정화 및 추가 피해 방지를 위해 노력하고 있습니다. 당국은 상황이 완전히 통제될 때까지 폐쇄 조치를 유지할 것이라고 밝혔습니다.

BANGKOK - Bangkok officials have closed sections of road in Dusit district after a massive sinkhole opened in front of Vajira Hospital this morning (Sept 24). The collapse created a hole approximately 30 by 30 meters wide and 50 meters deep, which has since expanded; however, no injuries have been reported.

The Dusit District Office ordered the closure of the Vajira Hospital Intersection through to the Sanghi Intersection, along with surrounding streets, to safeguard the public. The incident also disrupted nearby utility systems, raising risks to infrastructure and heightening concerns for commuters and pedestrians.

Emergency crews and engineering teams are on-site working to stabilize the area and prevent further damage. Authorities said the closures will remain in place until the situation is fully under control.
