한국에서는 복잡한 규정에 따라 쓰레기를 세심하게 분리수거해야 하지만, 태국 콘도는 처리 방법이 매우 단순합니다.

• 각 층의 일반 쓰레기통에 모두 버리기만 하면 끝입니다.

물론 지구 환경을 위해 분리수거가 바람직하지만, 현재 태국에서는

• 시내 곳곳에 분리수거 전용 대형 수거함이 있기도 하고,
• 점차 분리수거 시스템을 강화해 나가는 추세입니다.
  다만 아직 시민들 습관이 완벽히 갖춰지지 않아, 완벽히 분리된 채로 배출되는 경우는 드뭅니다.

저는 세븐일레븐 비닐봉지나 과일가게 봉투를 임시 쓰레기봉투로 재활용합니다.

• 주방 벽에 걸어두었다가 꽉 차면
• 콘도 각 층에 비치된 쓰레기통에 그대로 던져 넣으면 됩니다.
• 매일 청소를 하기 때문에, 쓰레기 배출 구역도 깨끗하게 관리됩니다.

In Korea, you must sort garbage according to detailed regulations. In a Thai condo, however, trash disposal is extremely simple:

• Just throw everything into the general waste bin on your floor.

While recycling is of course better for the planet, in Thailand:

• There are large recycling stations scattered around the city, and
• The government is gradually improving the system.
  Still, most residents don’t yet fully separate their trash before disposal.

I personally reuse 7‑Eleven plastic bags or fruit‑shop bags as kitchen liners.

• Hang them on a hook in the kitchen; when full,
• Simply toss the bag into the condo’s common waste bin on your floor.
• Since the bins are cleaned daily, the disposal area remains very tidy.
